Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. They have the same Chemical, physical, and optical characteristics as mined diamonds. They are real diamonds with the same crystal structure and beautiful sparkle and brilliance as mined diamonds.

All our diamonds are checked by our gemologist for quality, color and clarity. Diamonds which are over 0.50Ct. are accompanied by a IGI or GIA cert.

Lab-Grown rough diamonds are produced in a factory. Therefore, they are all conflict free diamonds.

Re-sizing is complimentary.

This service excludes a special-order eternity ring. The eternity style prevents resizing due to the design and stone placements.

Once the jewelry is shipped to Karini, it will be resized and sent back to the provided address with the adjusted size.

Please note: All shipping cost will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Take a strip of paper and cut it two inches long. Wrap it around your finger and leave enough room for movement. Mark the paper with a pen or marker when it touches the other side and measure this distance with a ruler. Use the millimeter measurements and this will be your approximate ring size.

We also recommend going to a local jewelry store and have them measure the appropriate finger.

Select any ring size. During the checkout process, there will be a section where you can leave special instructions or notes. In this section, please specify the exact ring size you would like to receive.

1. **High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) Method**: This method involves placing a small diamond seed in a controlled environment of extreme pressure and high temperature, mimicking the conditions deep within the Earth where natural diamonds are formed. Carbon source material, usually graphite, is also present in the environment. Under these conditions, carbon atoms accumulate on the seed and gradually crystallize, forming a diamond.

2. **Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) Method**: In this technique, a diamond seed is placed in a vacuum chamber with a mixture of gases, typically methane and hydrogen. When energy is applied, such as through microwave radiation or hot filament, the gases break down, and carbon atoms are deposited onto the diamond seed. Over time, these atoms bond and crystallize, gradually building up layers of diamond material.

Both methods can produce high-quality diamonds with identical properties to natural diamonds but with the advantage of being grown in controlled laboratory conditions.
